By signing on to the Inspire 4 Life campaign, you can raise the importance of positive adult relationships in the lives of youth. You will also join a network of individuals and organizations that support the goals of the Inspire 4 Life campaign.

The options under I pledge to... represent personal commitments on your part, and are followed by some suggestions on how to accomplish them. They are entirely optional.

Membership vs. Pledging

If you just wish to make a personal commitment or let us know what you think of the inspire 4 life campaign, you can fill out this form and that's that. However, you will also get an email. If you wish to become a member of inspire4life.org, just follow the directions in that message to activate your account!

  • Mentor a young person or a group of young people
  • Tutor a young person in an academic subject
  • Coach a team or individual sport
  • Teach a skill or a subject
  • Lead a group of youth (scouting, 4H, club, etc.)
  • Provide a young person with an afterschool or summer job
  • Support a youth internship position
  • Offer a community service volunteer position to a young person
  • Join a school group or committee (parent-teacher group, booster group, etc)
  • Volunteer with a youth-focused neighborhood group or faith-based organization
  • Write a letter to the editor or op-ed for your local newspaper
  • Contact elected officials to ask for their support on youth-focused policies
  • Attend your town meeting or city council meeting and speak out for youth-focused policies
  • In the workplace, contact your human resources department to ask about internships for youth and/or paid time off for volunteering with youth
  • Donate money
  • Donate in-kind services (pro bono legal, marketing, financial, etc.)
